new site for selling lps online
just got an email from these folks -
http://www.soundmarketplace.com
haven't heard pro or con about them yet. Looks like if you're already formatted your inventory for GEMM or some other online sites,
you can just upload to this site. They charge no listing fee, just a 5% commission on your entire sale, including
shipping. Europe based.
whoops! corrected link for goldsoul

wondering what to do with the beater vinyl?
just discovered a cool stie - etsy.com, an arts & crafts site. Look under music/vinyl for some cool projects using old vinyl - everything from 45 adapters as earrings, to chip bowls out of melted lps, to a purse sandwiched between 2 lps. pretty cool stuff. I'm definitely making a pair of the earrings for my girlfriend.

Yahoo auctions closing
Yahoo has finally thrown in the towel and given up on its auctions. Bidding is active through June 16, accounts will be maintained through Oct. 29. Looks like a lot of yahoo sellers are migrating to Bidville or eCrater, with eCrater looking more popular. I've set up my account and will let you know how it works out.

Wondering how to sell those low priced lps on Amazon? Lot 'em by group, then create your own seller page with the title being " 6 lp lot of ....", upload your photo, and you're off! In 3 or 4 days you should have the item page showing up on search.
Good luck!
